I’ve worked in the home building industry since 1999. I started at an engineering company managing multiple weekly projects which involved residential design skills and Autocad expertise, along with adhering to local code and creating construction documentation for constrution and permit process . It also provided valuable experience in working with clients and meeting deadlines.
Six years later I was recruited by one of our main clients - a custom home builder whose quality craftsmanship had always impressed me. I quickly advanced into marketing, advertising, sales and I.T./communications while finishing my BS degree in Landscape Architecture from OSU. The demand for landscape designs, project management and client interaction spurred on the creation of my own side business, Creative Avenue LLC, where I continue to practice Landscape Design, Residential Architecture, Web Design and Advertising.
